Winny Equine Tether Tie
Australian designed aluminium horse safety tie. Great for wash bays, floats and hitching points, everywhere! Excellent for training horses to understand the tie up process, when the horse "gives" to the pressure and takes a step forward the release is instant, all the while not making them feel trapped or claustrophobic. Excellent for both young and older horses to help aid in the training process! Keeps horses safe in environments such as floats when in times of emergency or accidents, fast release is necessary. Doesn't wear away easily or melt like plastics, is lighter than mild steel, wont rust and is very strong and durable. Multiple ways to tie to increase or decrease pressure.

Safety tips: Badly knotted ropes should not be used as they will restrict the pressure & release of this product. Always check your particular rope slides through when pressure is applied. Winny Equine does not recommend solid tying horses!

here to find out.
Level 1
Level 1 is the loosest setting and allows the rope to slide through easily for most rope types. While "upside down" place the rope through the hole closest to the neck of the tie, then go over the rounded end and pull down firm.
|
Level 2
Level 2 is the most commonly used setting, it suits most ropes and horses. Go through the bottom curved hole and around the neck of the tie. Pull down firm to set the rope in place.
|
Level 3
Level 3 is just slightly firmer than level two and some prefer this just slightly extra firmness. The rope goes through the centre hole and around the neck of the tie. Pull down firm to set the rope in place.
|
Level 4
Level 4 is a very firm setting and depending on your rope thickness, can be almost solid but with a standard rope thickness allows a very firm hold while still allowing the horse to take some rope in a spook or emergency. Place the rope through the bottom hole then the top hole then around the neck of the tie. Pull down firm to set the rope in place.
