The Vivant Equi PVC coated fillet string has a clip at each end so is quick and easy to put on and take off any rug fitted with D rings to attach to. Fillet strings are designed for use with covers with belly straps.

The soft PVC is easy to wipe clean if needed
Sizes – the measurements are from clip end to clip end:
- S - 43 cm - best suited to ponies
- M - 52 cm - best suited to hacks
These are made by me so measurement may vary very slightly.
Plastic Clip
Light weight. - Best suited to stable/show/travel rugs.
Under pressure the cord will pull out of the clip or the clip will break. Very easily fixed. Cord is easily reattached the clip. You can do this yourself. Clip can easily be replaced by you. Replacement clips available.

Metal Clip
More robust - Can be used on a paddock rug.
Can be sent back for repair if required. Costs will apply.
Will using a fillet string cause my cover to slip?
No, not if the cover sits properly in the first place. If you are using back straps to hold your cover in place and to stop it from slipping to one side, the design of the cover might not be right for your horse or your horse might be just of a shape that regardless of the cover design, they slip.
